2. Acceptance

By accessing or using msocalc.com (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

3. Educational Purposes Only

The calculators and content on the Site are provided for general educational and informational purposes. They are not substitutes for professional financial, tax, legal, medical, fitness or other advice tailored to your situation.

4. No Warranties

The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We make no guarantee that results are free from error, omission, bugs or rounding inaccuracies. You should independently verify any number that informs a meaningful decision.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law (including §§ 309 No. 7 BGB), MOVA Empire UG and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from your use of the Site or reliance on any calculation, content or recommendation. Liability for damages resulting from injury to life, body or health, or from intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty by us, our legal representatives or vicarious agents, remains unaffected.

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Site is to stop using it.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) interfere with the Site's operation, (b) scrape or systematically download content beyond normal browsing, (c) circumvent any security or rate-limiting measures, or (d) use the Site to violate applicable laws.

7. Intellectual Property

The Site's text, layout, code and trademarks are owned by MOVA Empire UG or licensed to it. Mathematical formulas and general concepts are not copyrightable, but our specific presentation, design and explanatory text are. You may link to any page on the Site freely; large-scale reproduction requires written permission.

8. Third-Party Content and Advertisements

The Site includes content served by third parties (Google AdSense advertisements, Google Fonts, the open.er-api.com exchange-rate API). We are not responsible for the content of third-party services or any external sites we link to. See our Privacy Policy for the data-protection implications of these services.

9. Changes to the Site or Terms

We may modify the Site or these Terms at any time. Material changes to the Terms will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) and German conflict-of-laws provisions. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms is Duisburg, Germany — provided the user is a merchant (Kaufmann), a legal entity under public law, or a special fund under public law, or has no general place of jurisdiction in Germany. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the user's country of residence remain unaffected.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
